Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SavvyStocks ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

SavvyStocks reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Financial Disclaimer

SavvyStocks is an investment tracking and research tool only. It is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner.

• Nothing on SavvyStocks constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other sort of professional advice.
• You should not make any financial decision based solely on information provided by this Service.
• Always consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.
• Past performance of any investment does not guarantee future results.

Market Data & Accuracy

Market data displayed within SavvyStocks is provided by Twelve Data and other third-party sources. While we strive for accuracy:

• Market data may be delayed and is not guaranteed to be real-time.
• Stock prices, dividend information, earnings data, and other financial metrics may contain inaccuracies or delays.
• SavvyStocks does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data.
• Calculations including portfolio value, gain/loss, dividend yields, quality scores, and internal rate of return (IRR) are estimates and may differ from your brokerage statements.

You should always verify important financial data with your brokerage or official sources before making decisions.

AI-Powered Features & Third-Party AI Services

SavvyStocks uses artificial intelligence to enhance portfolio analysis and research. By using AI-powered features, you agree to the following terms:

• AI features — including the Hootie chat assistant, Daily Portfolio Brief, AI Portfolio Services, Smart Insights, and Research analysis — are powered by OpenAI's language models (currently GPT-4o-mini).
• When you use AI features, relevant data (such as your portfolio holdings, conversation messages, and research queries) is transmitted to OpenAI for processing. This data is used solely to generate your AI responses and is not used by OpenAI to train or improve their models when accessed via API.
• Your use of AI features is also subject to OpenAI's Usage Policies and Terms of Use.

• AI-generated responses are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or any form of professional guidance.
• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. You should independently verify all AI-generated information before relying on it.
• The AI assistant does not have access to real-time market conditions, and its responses should not be used as the sole basis for trading or investment decisions.
• AI technology has inherent limitations including potential for hallucinations (presenting incorrect information as fact), bias in training data, and inability to account for your complete financial situation.

• You retain ownership of the data you provide to AI features (portfolio data, questions, research queries).
• AI-generated outputs (analysis text, portfolio briefs, chat responses) are provided to you for your personal, non-commercial use within the Service.
• You may not represent AI-generated content as human-authored professional financial analysis or advice when sharing it with others.

• AI features are available to Pro-tier subscribers. AI feature availability, capabilities, and the underlying AI model may change at any time without prior notice.
• SavvyStocks is not responsible for service interruptions, degraded quality, or unavailability of AI features caused by third-party provider outages or changes.
• You may disable AI features at any time through Account > Preferences. Disabling AI features will hide the chat assistant, Daily Portfolio Brief, and AI-powered analysis from your experience.

• You may not use AI features to generate content that violates OpenAI's Usage Policies, including but not limited to generating misleading financial claims, manipulating markets, or producing harmful content.
• You may not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the AI system's safety measures or operational boundaries.
• Automated or programmatic access to AI features outside of the provided interface is prohibited.

Risk Acknowledgement

By using SavvyStocks, you acknowledge and agree that:

• All investments carry risk, including the potential loss of principal.
• You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and their outcomes.
• SavvyStocks shall not be held liable for any financial losses incurred as a result of using the Service or relying on information presented within it.
• Backtesting and historical performance data are hypothetical and do not reflect actual trading results.
• Dividend quality scores, IRR calculations, and other analytical metrics are algorithmic estimates and should not be the sole basis for investment decisions.

SMS Program Terms (SavvyStocks SMS Alerts)

Program name: SavvyStocks SMS Alerts. By opting in, you agree to the following SMS program terms in addition to these Terms of Service.

• SavvyStocks SMS Alerts is an account-based notification service that sends transactional and informational text messages to users who have opted in. Messages are tied to alerts the user configures inside their account.
• Message types include: price alerts (e.g. a holding crossing a 52-week high or low or a user-defined threshold), dividend confirmations, ex-dividend reminders, earnings reminders, and account/system notices (e.g. brokerage sync results).
• This program is operated by SavvyStocks. SMS messages are delivered via our SMS service provider, Twilio.

• Users opt in inside the SavvyStocks application by signing in, navigating to Account > Message Center > Notification Preferences, entering a mobile phone number, and explicitly checking a consent box that reads: "I agree to receive SMS account alerts (price alerts, dividend confirmations, earnings reminders, and system notices) from SavvyStocks at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See Privacy Policy and Terms of Service."
• Links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service appear directly beneath the consent checkbox and in the site footer.
• The user must save the form for the consent to take effect. Our server records the opt-in timestamp, IP address, and the exact disclosure text shown.
• SMS is never sent to any number that has not completed this in-app opt-in flow. Mobile numbers are not collected from third parties, purchased lists, or offline channels.

Message frequency varies and is driven by the alerts each user has configured. Users with many active alerts and many holdings paying dividends or reporting earnings may receive several messages per week; users with few or no alerts may receive none.

SavvyStocks does not charge a fee to receive SMS Alerts. Message and data rates may apply based on your wireless carrier plan. Contact your wireless carrier for details.

• Reply STOP to any message from SavvyStocks to immediately unsubscribe from all SMS Alerts. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent to that number.
• Reply HELP to any message from SavvyStocks to receive support contact information.
• You may also revoke consent at any time inside the app by unchecking the SMS consent box in Account > Message Center > Notification Preferences and saving.

SavvyStocks SMS Alerts are supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and other participating carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SavvyStocks's collection and use of your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and a resident of the United States to opt in to SavvyStocks SMS Alerts. By opting in, you represent that you are the account holder for the mobile phone number you provided, or that you have the account holder's permission to enroll that number.

Subscriptions & Payments

SavvyStocks offers Free and Pro subscription tiers. Regarding paid subscriptions:

• Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.
• New accounts may receive a complimentary Pro trial period.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Account page.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of SavvyStocks.
• SavvyStocks reserves the right to modify pricing, features, or subscription tiers with reasonable notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• SavvyStocks is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• SavvyStocks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• SavvyStocks's total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
• SavvyStocks is not responsible for service interruptions, data loss, or errors caused by third-party services (including market data providers, payment processors, or AI services).

General Terms

• You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to gain unauthorized access, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform.
• Your account may be suspended or terminated for violation of these terms.
• You may delete your account at any time directly inside the app at Account > Security > Delete my account. Deletion is permanent and immediately removes your profile, holdings, transactions, watchlists, alerts, passkeys, brokerage connections, and all other associated data. Active paid subscriptions should be cancelled separately from the Subscription tab before deletion.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
• If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
